Loser…
Umuwi man akong talunan sa awards, pero hindi naman sa pananamit.
Nitong October 9, Friday, ginanap ang 2009 Philippine Blog Awards sa PETA Theater. Kaya naman talagang nag-dressup ako para sa nasabing occasion kahit hindi naman talaga kailangan. Pwede nga akong pumunta sa venue na hubo’t hubad dahil “come as you are” naman ang nakalagay sa invitation. Naisipan ko na lang tuloy magsuot ng necktie… pero may suot naman ako other than that necktie, ok?
Agaw-pansin talaga ang kasuotan ko. Lalo’t di ko nagamit ang chopper namin papuntang PETA theater, kung kaya’t nag-MRT na lamang ako. Dama kong pinagtitinginan ako sa loob ng train at mga dinadaanan ko, mukha kasi akong nagbebenta ng insurance or salesman ng encyclopedia. Kulang na lang ang magdala ako ng mga flyers at attaché case.
Tanging sa Bloggers’ Choice Award lang naman ako kasali dahil alanganin ang blog ko sa anumang mga categories. Hindi naman talaga ako humor blogger. Makapagbagbag-damdamin kaya itong blog ko kaya nararapat lang ito sa Best Emo Blog category. O di kaya, Best Blog That Excels Perfection of Insane Ideas with A Mixture of Oozing Charm and Sex Appeal Making This The Longest Title of All The Categories. In short, Best Narcissistic Blog.
Anyway, MARAMING MARAMING SALAMAT SA MGA BUMOTO SA AKIN PARA SA BLOGGERS’ CHOICE AWARD (NATIONALS)! Lalo na kina Marck at Fruityoaty para sa napaka-flattering comments nila.
Bagamat hindi tayo pinalad na manalo, lubos pa rin ang pasasalamat ko sa lahat ng mga bumoto sa aking kagaguhang journal. At kahit umuwi akong talunan, lugmok sa kalungkutan at luhaan habang gumagapang papasok ng bahay, naniniwala naman akong panalo pa rin ako sa puso niyo, di ba?
Binabati ko ang mga winners na sina Mica, Marck, Karen, Jeric at iba pang nanalo para sa taong ito ng Philippine Blog Awards.

Dahil wala namang Blog of the Year sa PBA 2009, ako na lang ang magke-claim nito dahil makapal ang mukha ko at dahil gusto ko. Ang umangal, panget!
